WHY SHOULD I GET A MASSAGE?

WHAT SHOULD I BRING? WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

For your session, you don’t need to bring much—just yourself and maybe a water bottle to stay hydrated (we have some if you forget). As for what to wear, comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is best. If you're coming for a sports massage, wearing something like gym shorts and a t-shirt can make it easier to access the areas that need treatment. For rehabilitation therapy, wear clothes that allow for easy movement, like workout gear, so you can comfortably perform any exercises. We'll make sure you feel at ease and prepared for your session.

WHAT SHOULD/SHOULDN’T I DO AFTER TREATMENT?

After your treatment, it’s important to give your body the time it needs to recover and make the most of the session. Here are a few tips:

What you should do:

  • Stay hydrated: Drinking water helps flush out toxins released during the treatment.

  • Rest: Give your muscles time to recover, especially if the treatment was intense.

  • Follow any advice or exercises given: This can help maintain the benefits of the treatment and speed up recovery.

What you shouldn't do:

  • Avoid strenuous activities: Right after treatment, your muscles need time to heal, so it’s best to skip any intense workouts or heavy lifting.

  • Don’t skip your aftercare routine: Whether it's stretching, icing, or resting, following the recommended aftercare helps enhance the treatment’s effectiveness.

  • Avoid alcohol and heavy meals: These can dehydrate you and counteract the benefits of the therapy.

By taking these steps, you’ll help ensure a smooth recovery and maximize the benefits of your treatment.

DO YOU ACCEPT DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS?

We do! The booking system will ask for card details but NOT charge you when booking an appointment. This is to protect against late cancellations and no-shows. But it also means we can charge the card on file after the session, which means less time with admin and more time getting treatment!

If you want to charge a different card, we can switch to another one at your appointment or you can pay by card using the card machine. We also accept cash if that’s your preferred payment option!

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE?

Our booking system allows you to cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours in advance of your appointment. It also takes your card details only to protect against late cancellations and no-shows.

If you do cancel with 12 hours or less notice (or not show up), you’ll be charged a 50% fee. There are no exceptions to this. We are an appointment-based business with ongoing expenses that we must pay regardless of whether clients come to their appointments.

We get that things happen, but by booking with us, you accept our cancellation/no-show policy (which you agree to as part of our booking process).Fortunately, this is extremely rare, so please respect our business as much as you would like to be respected! Thank you.
